Not daily fantasy baseball advice, but at least the Miami Heat won last night.
Don’t get your media perpetuated panties in a bunch, as I’ve been a Miami fan since the likes of Bimbo Coles and Rony Seikaly donned the red and white. That was my one saving grace as most of my daily fantasy baseball teams flopped thanks to Zach Britton shutting down the Detroit Tigers. Moving on to daily fantasy baseball here is all you need to know from last night: The Houston Astros outscored Detroit, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Texas, and Anaheim….combined. Yea, it was that kind of a night. Let’s get to tonight’s games.
Take note – We will only be discussing the night games that start at 7.05PM.

Alex Gordon -Alex is 12-30 in his career against Justin Masterson.
Chris Sale – Despite being 0-3 in his last three games, Chris has a 2.11 earned run average and 25 Ks during the time period.
Gio Gonzalez – Gio has a 1.80 earned run average and 22 strikeouts in his last three games.
Chris Sale is my top pitcher. He should rack up the strikeouts, the only drawback being that his offense is a bit prude, as they don’t seem to like scoring. Gio Gonzalez, Justin Masterson, C.J. Wilson, Kris Medlen, Jeff Locke, Mark Buehrle, Kyle Lohse and Bronson Arroyo are also in play depending on the site and your willingness to take on some risk. The Rangers, Blue Jays and Angels are all in a good spot to score tonight. All of the obvious hitters (Encarnacion, Pujols, Trout, etc) are worth considering. Other Hitters in Play – Jacoby Ellsbury, Matt Carpenter, Jason Castro, Michael Cuddyer, Jed Lowrie, Wilin Rosario, Carlos Beltran, Jonathan Lucroy, Todd Frazier, Zack Cozart, and B.J. Upton.
Thanks for reading everyone and good luck in your games today. Feel free to chime in with questions, comments, rants, requests, and general snark.
