There are plenty of exciting tournaments to sign up this afternoon. Because of this, today is a great time to dip your toe into the daily fantasy baseball water. In fact, with so much money up for grabs, you might as well cannonball right into the deep end. All you have to do is follow our advice, and we’ll be the floaties to keep you from drowning. If you have been playing daily fantasy baseball, but for some reason you didn’t follow our featured picks yesterday, here are some of the players you missed out on.
Results of some of yesterday’s recommended plays :
Chris Davis – 2-3 2 HR, 5 RBI, BB
Starlin Castro – 2-5 HR
Shin-Soo Choo – 3-4 HR, 2 Runs, 2 BB
Jacob Turner – 9 INN, 1 ER, 7 K, W, CG
As you can see, if you used these picks as a foundation for your daily fantasy baseball team last night, you would have been well positioned to cash in your games. With that said, and in the interest of full disclosure, we misfired on a couple of our top rated picks (I’m looking at you Jay Bruce). Nonetheless, today is a new day with a brand new batch of daily fantasy baseball games to sign up for. Do yourself a favor and get yourself into the action. Let’s get to the games.

Today’s Daily Fantasy Baseball Top Pitcher
Chris Sale – Chris’s team, the White Sox, are favored to win a game in the day’s lowest over/under on the board (7.5). Furthermore Chris is simply a strike out machine. This is especially true of late as he has K’d at least 13 batters in two of his last three games.
Today’s Daily Fantasy Baseball Top Hitters
Buster Posey – The formula is pretty simple. Buster Posey + a left-handed pitcher + playing in Coors Field = daily fantasy baseball goodness. Buster is batting .377 vs LHPs this year, has a career .426 BA in Coors Field, and he’s homered in three of his last four games.
Dustin Pedroia – Pedroia is 14-25 with a HR in his last seven games. Today he gets to face a lefty, who he is hitting .353 against this year. More specifically he goes up against Mark Buehrle who he’s a .333 hitter against and has only struck out once in 27 plate appearance.
Jose Bautista – “Joey Bats” has been cold of late, but he’s coming off a two home run performance in Fenway yesterday. That is now four bombs for Jose in six games played at Boston this year. Today he squares off against Ryan Dempster who has been rather generous in serving up home run balls of late. Ryan has dished out seven gopher balls in his last five home starts.
Jason Heyward – Jason is 8-22 including five extra base hits in his last seven games. Across the industry his salary has not caught up to this hot streak, as its still being weighed down due to his overall disappointing season. That’s the great thing about daily fantasy baseball; we don’t care you did yesterday, or what you will do tomorrow as only today matters.
The previous picks should give your team a nice edge today, but if you really want to maximize your team’s chances of success today, follow the link to help you fill out the rest of your team.
