Today’s Daily Fantasy Baseball Top Pitcher
Adam Wainwright – Granted, the Angels have some daunting hitters is their lineup, but I like Adam’s chances to do his best Magellan, and navigate the landmines just fine. His numbers are eye-popping – A 2.22 ERA and a .99 WHIP on the season. Additionally, his control is impeccable as he has yet to walk more than two batters in a game this year. Lastly, I expect the Cardinals to hit Joe Blanton hard, so getting a W seems fairly obtainable.
Today’s Daily Fantasy Baseball Top Hitters
Wilin Rosario – In daily fantasy baseball circles, knowing to roster Wilin Rosario when he plays at home vs a lefty is akin to knowing that the Rockies hail from Colorado. It’s that obvious. And just because it’s obvious doesn’t make it any less correct. Oh, and in just five at-bats against Chris Capuano, Wilin has left the yard twice.
Michael Cuddyer – Michael, who is batting .355 at home this year, recently had his 27 game hit streak, but he started a new one last night. I’m setting one hit as his floor for today, with several extra base hits as his ceiling.
Prince Fielder – I look at Esmil Rogers and I’m just not buying his 3.12 ERA on the season. Prince is a much better hitter vs RHPs, and today I expect Prince (and friends) to expose Esmil for the average-at-best pitcher that he truly is.
Allen Craig – Generally speaking, I tend to unleash Allen only when he plays against a LHP. I’m making an exception today because A) there are only 5 night games that we are focusing on B) He’s 3-4 with 2HRs vs Joe Blanton, and C) I feel like he is really up for the opportunity to play against Albert Pujols, the future hall of famer who he replaced at 1B for the Cardinals.
The previous picks should give your team a nice edge today, but if you really want to maximize your team’s chances of success today, follow the link to help you fill out the rest of your team.
