Get in on the daily fantasy action over at DraftKings and StarStreet tonight! With only three games on the slate, we’re going to switch it up a bit. Here is a quick look at tonight’s games along with some analysis to help you construct your daily fantasy basketball lineups.
Ricky Rubio has a great matchup and a nice price on most sites, which should mean good things for him tonight. Detroit is terrible at defending the point guard these days, ranking 4th-worst in allowing opponent efficiency. Jose Calderon can’t keep up with young guys like Rubio, so look for the Wolves guard to have a nice game tonight. For the Pistons, look for Brandon Knight to play well in his second game back from injury.
Jeff Green is going to have to log big minutes again in a very important home game tonight. Green played 45 minutes filling in for KG last game and should be in line for something similar with the Knicks in town. This is a huge game with playoff implications, so expect the Celtics to come out hot and play well at home against New York. I also like Paul Pierce to play well in this one, as he will be the focal point of the offense all night long. On the other side of things, it should be Carmelo Anthony carrying the load as usual. Tyson Chandler looks like he might play, but be sure to check back later in the day for confirmation. Depending on how many minutes he gets, Chandler could make for a very solid play against the center-less Celtics.
Chris Paul is nursing a knee injury, and if he sits, Eric Bledsoe becomes a great play. I also really like Jamal Crawford, especially if Chauncey Billups is out again. For the Mavericks, you have to like the consistent play of late from Dirk Nowitzki, and Mike James continues to make for a nice value play as he continues to start at point guard for the Mavs.
