Last Week’s Whole in One Daily Fantasy Golf Picks:
Kevin Streelman put together three sub-70 rounds to win the Tampa Bay Championship.
Jason Dufner finished T-21 and looked very promising during the 2nd round posting a 66.
Adam Scott finished T-30 and was stricken by a terrible 3rd round.
Matt Kuchar ended up T-14 and was 6 off of the lead.
Webb Simpson started off slow, but posted a T-17 and helped keep us in contention.
Louis Oosthuizen missed the cut after two poor first round performances.
4/5 of the DFR daily fantasy golf picks made the cut, and 3/5 were in the top 25.
This week, players arrive at Orlando, FL to tackle the Bay Hill Club and Lodge. Playing at 7,400 yards and a Par 72, this course is long and benefits bombers. The fairways are wide enough to guarantee a nice approach, but the approach shots have to be on target. GIR plays a huge role in who competes at the end of the tournament. With the esteemed Arnold Palmer as the figurehead, all of the golfers want to come out and perform at a high level. Last year’s winner, Tiger Woods, posted -13 and dominated the first two rounds with sub 70 scores to put himself in a great position to win. He will be in the field along with other previous winners, and they should provide some great daily fantasy golf action.

This Week’s Whole in One – Daily Fantasy Golf Picks:
Brandt Snedeker returns from injury this week. When Snedeker plays, he is on the top of my list. His consistency rivals any other golfer on tour right now. He presently sits at #4 in the world and has a chance to rival the three golfers in front of him. With one win already in 2013, he is the DFR top pick this week.
Jason Dufner didn’t perform up to expectations last week, but his 2nd round 66 prove to me that his game is still clicking. He has only missed one out of eight cuts this year. His level of consistency rivals Brandt, and he has the ability to perform at a high level.
Ian Poulter has elevated the level of his game, as evident by his performance at the Ryder Cup. Poulter finished 3rd at Bay Hill last year and has reached my top 10 ranking for this tournament. Poulter hasn’t missed a cut in 18 tournaments- talk about daily fantasy golf goodness!
Tiger Woods has won this event four times since 2003. According to Vegas, his odds to win this week are close to 1:1. As always with Tiger, the first two rounds are the most important, so pay attention to his putting and scoring early on in the tournament.
Rickie Fowler will hopefully stay off the wings and motocross on Saturday night. This course is built for Rickie’s game: fairways that are easily accessible and a plethora of opportunities to gamble or go long. He has been a constant presence in the top 20 this year, reaching that milestone in three tournaments.
