Welcome to Five Guys No Burgers and Fries: Daily Fantasy Basketball!

Welcome back riders, hope you enjoyed the All-Star break.  With the trade deadline looming I’ll have to ask you to keep your arms and legs within the article at all times, as we explore our daily fantasy basketball picks for tonight.

For additional discussion on these players and many more, tune in to our LIVE SHOW Monday-Friday at 5PM/EST.

Thursday’s Three Guys

Chris Bosh performed exactly as expected, totaling 20 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in the Heat’s decisive victory over the Thunder.

Antawn Jamison continued his hot streak with 17 points on 7 of 13 shooting. He also chipped in 4 rebounds and an assist.

Chris Paul extended his dominance, tallying 24 points, 13 assists, a rebound, and 2 steals as the Clippers cruised to an easy win over the Lakers.

You see my name right there? You better pick me fool.

Today’s Five Guys

Top Daily Fantasy Pick: Ty Lawson is on the hottest run of his career, and now draws a home game against a Boston squad he torched last week. With the notable absence of the NBA’s biggest stars this evening, you’ll be able to fit players like Lawson into your lineups fairly easily. Boston’s recent struggles against opposing point guards have been well documented, which makes Lawson the high end play I’m targeting today. (DraftKings $8,100, FanThrowdown $7,600, FanDuel $7,900)

Nikola Vucevic brings everything daily fantasy owners love to the table. Whether it be minutes, consistency, or lack of competition for his spot, Vucevic is the complete package. The Magic will take on the Bobcats this evening, and between both teams the only true rebounding presence is Nikola. He’s flirted with 20 boards with surprising regularity, and if I had to guess I’d say he gets close again tonight. (DraftKings $7,200, FanThrowdown $8,000, FanDuel $7,600)

David Lee and the entire Warriors squad entered the All-Star break sputtering. With all of the starters logging consistent heavy minutes in a shallow rotation, it’s likely the days off have done wonders. Against a Utah squad that has shown weakness to opposing big men at times this season, Lee should come out recharged and ready to go. He should be cheap as well, considering his recent struggles. (DraftKings $6,900, FanThrowdown $8,000, FanDuel $8,400)

Bradley Beal was reported to be practicing with the first team again today, and due to the roller coaster nature of his past month of performances, he’s extremely cheap on quite a few sites. If it’s confirmed that he is in fact starting his value will skyrocket, as playing opposite John Wall allows for a multitude of open looks. (DraftKings $3,900, FanThrowdown $6,200, FanDuel $5,100)

Jameer Nelson should be fully recovered from his hip injury, and gets one of the tastier point guard matchups in the Bobcats tonight. In two games against them this year he’s averaged 19 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds. (DraftKings $6,100, FanThrowdown $7,700, FanDuel $6,500)
