Yesterday’s Five Guys
Dirk Nowitzki had a poor shooting night, but still managed to provide solid value, finishing with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, a block, and a steal.
Ersan Ilyasova was hot once again, tallying 12 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.
Goran Dragic exploded for 20 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals.
Five Two Guys
Top Daily Fantasy Basketball Pick: Carlos Boozer looked healthy for the first time in weeks last game, and it seems the All-Star break has done most of the Bulls a world of good. Boozer exploded for 17 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals against New Orleans on Tuesday. In his one meeting with Miami this season he torched their front court for 27 points and 12 boards. Combine all that with a heavily reduced price tag due to injury struggles and you have one of the evening’s true value plays. (DraftKings $5,800, FanThrowdown $7,200)
DeAndre Jordan isn’t a play I would normally recommend, but with only two games and a plethora of daily fantasy’s highest salaries in action, value can’t be viewed as an exact science. Jordan has greatly improved his play in the past month, and in two meetings against the Spurs has averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks, and a steal. For a low-end, mid-range price tag that’s more than enough data to roll the dice. (DraftKings $4,800, FanThrowdown $5,500)
