Five Guys No Burgers and Fries – Daily Fantasy Basketball 2-4-13

Welcome to Five Guys No Burgers and Fries: NBA Daily Fantasy Strategy. In this article we’ll be examining NBA daily fantasy strategy by discussing five players that have an excellent chance of performing well this evening.

Daily Fantasy BasketballNikola Vucevic-  Vucevic comes into this game as the Magic’s last man standing, and that may be enough to push him into value on most sites. Well, that and the fact that Philly is absolutely terrible against opposing centers. Look for him to log 40+ minutes and hit value through sheer attrition.

Nick Young- Young has been a pleasant surprise for the 76er’s the past few weeks, and an absolute anomaly for those who believe in the purity of the game. Tonight he’ll play against a Magic team sans any of their top defensive options, and figures to be one of the starter’s left in the game even if/when it degenerates into a blowout.

Russel Westbrook- Westbrook is a noted Mavericks killer, and with Durant a little banged up there will certainly be a lion’s share of cowboy destruction. Darren Collison can’t hang with Russell and this one could get ugly very fast.

Taj Gibson- Look at his minute logs since Noah has been out. Noah is out again.

Moe Harkless- Minutes will be abundant for the Magic D-Leaguers tonight, and Harkless should lead the way fresh off a huge night that could set the tone for the rest of his season. He’s the bare minimum on most sites, and you can count on him for 40 minutes as one of the safest value plays of the evening.
