It was a busy weekend on the Daily Fantasy Radio Circuit as we stopped at FanThrowdown for some Friday night daily fantasy basketball, and then took a pit stop at Fantazzle for a high octane daily fantasy NASCAR thriller! Tonight the Circuit makes an appearance at Star Fantasy Leagues with an action packed slate of NBA games! Look for the $5 GPP in the lobby and prove once and for all you’re the top daily fantasy basketball player around!
The weekend held few secrets as most games played out par for course, with four game yesterday ending in blowouts of 25 points or more. Some notable daily fantasy basketball tidbits were the resurgence of Andrea Bargnani in a starting role, the unknown extent of Anthony Davis’ shoulder injury, Bradley Beal going down with a bum ankle, and Enes Kanter bursting onto the daily fantasy basketball radar.

Today’s Top Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks
Ty Lawson is having a breakout season, displaying consistency for the first time in his young career. He’s been one of the top point guards in daily fantasy basketball this season, and has stepped up for a Denver team devoid of stars to become an elite option. Tonight he faces an Atlanta back court that has been routinely torched by opposing point guards all season. He posted a line of 32 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals in an earlier meeting this season. He’s priced at $14,079 on Star Fantasy Leagues.
Andrea Bargnani was surprisingly thrust into a starting role in the past two Raptors games, sending Jonas Valanciunas to the bench. He responded with an excellent line against the Bucks, and should he retain his starting gig will be in for a similar performance against the equally inept front court defenders for Golden State. His tag sits at $7,045 on Star Fantasy Leagues. EDIT: GAME TIME DECISION
Dion Waiters has been on fire since Kyrie Irving went down, and one can only imagine the accumulated confidence will translate to a shared back court with Irving, as defensive pressure is released from the Cavs only legitimate scoring threat at the moment. The Knicks have struggled defending guards that shoot well, and that puts Waiters in line for a monster evening. Star Fantasy Leagues has him listed at $10,101. EDIT: GAME TIME DECISION
Greivis Vasquez is in the midst of a career year as well, and has emerged as the unquestioned leader of the New Orleans Hornets. He’s a triple double threat on any given night, and dropped 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists on the Orlando Magic in an earlier meeting this season. The Magic haven’t gotten any better since then, and I fully expect Vasquez to dismantle the struggling squad. You can find him for $14,084 at Star Fantasy Leagues.
Ryan Anderson is the leading scorer for the Hornets, and that’s a telling fact about the incumbent sixth man. With Anthony Davis and Jason Smith sidelined, the front court minutes and starting role belong solely to Randerson now. Like Vasquez above, he gets a dream matchup with the Orlando Magic and their non-existent front court defense. He’s a steal at Star Fantasy Leagues for $10,993.
