The Daily Fantasy Radio Circuit dropped the puck at DraftKings last night for a fast paced, frozen affair. Tonight we’re bringing it back to daily fantasy basketball with a visit to FanThrowdown! Sign Up for the Daily Fantasy Radio Circuit and enter the No Rake NBA DFR Throwdown for only $6!
With only two games last night the daily fantasy basketball news was minimal, with the largest story being J.R. Smith’s season-high 36 points in an eventual losing effort the Thunder. Neither Chris Paul nor Blake Griffin looked particularly impressive, as the Nuggets ran the Clippers out of the gym. I think it’s safe to chalk the poor daily fantasy basketball performances up to the back to back.

Today’s Top Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks
Top Daily Fantasy Basketball Pick – Luis Scola $5,900 @ FanThrowdown: With Marcin Gortat’s season likely over and Jermaine O’Neal away for personal matters, Scola will have the starter’s minutes all to himself as the Suns will be forced to get creative with their personnel this evening. Sacramento is on the short list of dream daily fantasy basketball matchups for opposing big men, and that means Scola should face little resistance. He’s averaging 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in his past two meetings with the Kings.
Chandler Parsons $7,200 @ FanThrowdown: Parsons is on fire over the past two weeks, scoring 20 or more points in each of his last five contests. He’s been playing a small forward/power forward hybrid role, and really all that means is things will go from bad to ugly for the Warriors when he’s matched up with David Lee this evening. In his past two meetings with Golden State he’s poured in 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists.
Jeremy Lin $6,700 @ FanThrowdown: In his past two meetings with the Warriors, Lin is averaging 21 points and 10 assists. The entire Rockets team has potential this evening, and if you need a mid-range value point guard Lin is an excellent way to top-load your lineup.
Al Horford $9,000 @ FanThrowdown: No big man has been more consistent over his past 10 games than Horford, and despite not making the All-Star team this season the big man is playing with renewed offensive vigor that matches his stalwart defense. Boston is still a paper tiger against opposing big men and looks to be trampled underfoot by the dominant center they have no answer for.
John Wall $6,600 @ FanThrowdown: The Wizards will likely once again find themselves without rookie sensation Bradley Beal tonight. That’s not exactly a bad thing for Wall as he shoulders a significantly higher portion of offensive responsibility to compensate. The daily fantasy basketball matchup is as soft as they come against an out of shape and hobbled Deron Williams, and a value back court combo of Wall/Lin opens up a lot of space to make high powered lines.
