Where to Play:
Tonight I’ll be playing late leagues on DraftStreet. With a weird night of low-scoring daily fantasy basketball behind us, it’s time for some Sunday Fun Day daily fantasy basketball action!
Last Night’s Picks:
Stephen Curry – So he was the best fantasy option on the Warriors last night- too bad that doesn’t say much. The whole Golden State team pretty much mailed it in after getting down 62-42 by halftime. Curry put up 18 points, 4 assists and 7 boards in only 30 minutes, good for 23 FP on DraftDay.
Al Jefferson – Very similar story for most of the Jazz in Sacramento. None of the Jazz starters logged more than 23 minutes, with Big Al only getting 19. He ended the night with only 16 points and 3 rebounds (17 FP on DraftDay).
Danillo Galinari – Galo was solid in Denver’s road win, posting 19 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals for 32 FP on DraftDay.
Last Night’s Sleepers/Value:
Spencer Hawes/Lavoy Allen – Both of these guys were solid plays last night, Lavoy leading the way with 14 points and 22 rebounds (37 FP!) and Hawes racking up 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists (28 FP).
Nick Young – Foul trouble plagued Young all game as he just couldn’t manage to stay on the court for enough time to produce. He’s always been an inconsistent player and that’s really showed as of late with his 6 FP on the night.
Picks of the Night:
Russell Westbrook – He’s playing against the Suns tonight, a team he always seems to perform well against. The fact that the game is in Phoenix hopefully means it won’t be a blowout. If the Suns can keep it close, look for Westbrook to do well. (Draftstreet $17,879)
Zach Randolph – Looks like his back problems might be a thing of the past, and he has a solid matchup against a beat-up Minnesota team. With Rudy Gay out of the picture, ZBo has picked up his scoring over the past three games, a trend that should continue tonight. (Draftstreet $14,346)
Chandler Parsons – This is a guy I love picking in daily fantasy basketball because he always seems to fill the stat sheet in every way possible. He also draws a very nice matchup against a Sacramento team that ranks dead last in defending opposing SFs in the past ten games. (Draftstreet – $13,130)
Jason Terry – Except for one dud against Toronto, since Rondo went down JET has been very consistent. (Draftstreet $8,278)
Jeff Green – Similar reasoning to Terry, since the Sullinger injury he has been playing like a different person, with much more confidence than he has ever shown in Boston. He should play well in a fast, close game. (DraftStreet $8,743)
Jimmer Fredette – A definite gamble play, but he has taken over as the back-up PG, pushing Aaron Brooks out of the rotation. He’s only seeing around 15 MPG, but I’m thinking he might play a little more tonight with the Kings being on the second night of a back-to-back. (Draftstreet – $5,085)
