With only two games on tap tonight and the All-Star break this weekend, the first half of the daily fantasy basketball season is coming to an end. For those of you that have done well, congrats! For those of you that haven’t, it looks like you should be checking in with Daily Fantasy Radio more often… Thankfully, the two games tonight should provide some high-quality entertainment heading into this daily fantasy mini-vacation. If you’re like me, I’m sure you will be getting you’re daily fantasy fix through other sports such as NHL and PGA this weekend, or maybe you’re just taking a couple days off and enjoying the weekend. Either way, there’s money to be made tonight so let’s get to it.
Where to Play:
Picks of the Night:
LeBron James and/or Kevin Durant – The two highest-priced players in daily fantasy basketball going H2H is always exciting to watch. If you followed their previous match-ups, you would know that they always come to play and always produce fantasy numbers when going against each other. You’re going to need one of these guys, if not both, to be successful tonight. I’ll give the edge to KD just because he’s at home and his price is a little lower, but you can’t ignore the ridiculous numbers and shooting percentages that Bron has been putting up for quite some time now. (DraftKings, Bron $11,400, KD $10,100)
Chris Paul – He’s recently come back from injury, and it really looks like he hasn’t missed a beat. The Clippers blew-out the Rockets at home last night, and Paul didn’t have to log big minutes, meaning good things for tonight. The game was also at home, and although technically they are on the road tonight, they didn’t have to travel given that they are playing the Lakers, which is also a plus. He should be able to run circles around Steve Nash tonight. (DraftKings $8,300)
Chauncey Billups – Billups was absolutely on fire last night going for 19 points with 4 treys on 6-9 shooting in only 20 minutes. He’s stepped right into a starting role with the Clips and should be able to produce tonight. He’s dirt cheap on DraftKings and should be able to hit value tonight with ease. (DraftKings $3,000)
Ray Allen – RayRay’s price is very low due to inconsistency this year- that being said, the man shows up for big games, which is right where he’ll be tonight. On a night like tonight with only two games, you’re going to be forced to take some gambles, and Allen looks like a decent gamble tonight. It doesn’t take much for Allen to hit value given his bottom-of-the-barrel price. (DraftKings, $3,000)
