Where to Play:
Last Night’s Picks:
Ty Lawson absolutely crushed last night with 27 points, 12 assists and 4 rebounds for 50.5 FP.
Josh Smith was very mediocre, going for around 30 FP.
Dwight Howard played like the Howard of old in totaling 19 points and 16 rebounds with 2 blocked shots for around 45 FP.
The Orlando Magic’s limited roster, namely Arron Afflalo, Moe Harkless, Andrew Nicholson and E’Twaun Moore, had very solid games based on their respective prices.
Carlos Delfino had a very good game with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for 40.5 FP.
Patrick Beverley only saw limited playing time as all the Houston starters logged huge minutes, but he still had 9 points, 2 assists and a block shot, totaling around 15 FP.
Picks of the Night:
Kyrie Irving has a great matchup against the Magic, who are on a back-to-back where all their players logged huge minutes on Friday. Whether its Jameer Nelson or E’Twaun Moore defending him, Irving is in for a good night. (DraftKings $8,600)
Ty Lawson kept his fire going last night and should be doing similar damage tonight against the Bobcats. He’s playing huge minutes every game and continues to produce at a very high rate. I actually like the fact that he’s on the road because the Bobcats play much better at home, meaning this game should stay relatively close. (DraftKings $8,400)
Nene Hilario is never a guy I like recommending, nevertheless trusting with my money, as he always seems to let me down whenever I decide it’s a Nene kind of night. However, he has a great matchup tonight against the undermanned Rockets and has been playing pretty decent as of late. Definitely not the safest play, but if you’re looking for a GPP gamble he could be you’re guy.(DraftKings $6,800)
Arron Afflalo has kind of crept out of value range, but with Reddick out of the picture, he’s going to continue to get the bulk of the minutes at SG and will be asked to carry more of the offensive load, as we saw last night. The players acquired in the recent trade will be available tonight, so he may not get as many minutes as last night but still plenty enough to see value. (DraftKings $5,600)
Maurice Harkless actually saw the most minutes last night (45) out of all the Magic as they continue to let the rookie from St. John’s grow. He should easily see 30-plus minutes tonight and should make for a nice play. (DraftKings $4,200)
Carlos Delfino is going to see all the minutes he can handle for the time being as Thomas Robinson and Francisco Garcia won’t be available until next week. (DraftKings $4,000)
