Where to Play:
Tonight, with only five games on tap, I’m playing on DraftDay. Enough games for there to be a variety of picks, but not too many to get luck involved. Limited superstars, outside of James Harden ($16,350), and very few value plays, mean you will want to build a very well-rounded team.
Jrue Holiday – Jrue had a decent night in the blowout, going for around 30 FP’s. He had 13 points and 14 assists in an easy home win against a beat-up Orland Magic squad.
Nikola Vucevic – Vucevic was a big disappointment for many owners. Despite being the only real Magic starter on the floor, he couldn’t get anything going against his former team and finished with about 20 FP, not hitting value.
Al Jefferson – Big Al played very well against Cousins, going for over 30 FP.
Ish Smith & E’Twuan Moore – Ish was too cheap to avoid right? I guess not, he sucks. E’Twuan Moore was a good pick though, going for around 20 FP’s.
Randy Foye – Was very solid with around 23 FP’s, scoring 20 points and adding 6 assists.
Picks of the Night:
I’m targeting the two highest scoring games of the night based on the Over/Under according to Vegas:
GS @ Hou: 216, Mil @ Den: 213
Ersan Ilyasova – $10,100 – He’s been hot and faces Kenneth Faried, posing very little defensive threat.
Kobe Bryant – $14,350 – This is a big game in Brooklyn against the Nets, expect Kobe to show up.
Earl Clark – $8,300 – Dwight Howard is listed as doubtful, meaning big minutes for Clark once again.
Kyle Korver – $9,300 – He’s priced a little high, but with Devin Harris out again he should be logging around 40 minutes. Korver makes for a nice play on DraftDay due to his 3 point shooting ability.
