Where to Play:
Tonight, with only two games on tap, there is going to be a large amount of luck involved in winning. Not something daily fantasy players enjoy, but if you’re like me there’s no such thing as an off day. Last night was my first night playing for money on DraftKings, and I really liked what I saw. They have a great selection of leagues and the roster set up is a little different than most sites, in a good way. Also, I love the fact that you can make late changes after lock in if you get screwed with a late scratch, something not many sites offer.
Picks of the Night:
Kobe Bryant – ($9.5k) – There are very few studs playing tonight, so I’m going to pay for Kobe even if he might be a little overpriced. With only two games, points are points, and Kobe will definitely get some. It also doesn’t hurt that the Celtics are on the second game of a back to back.
Carlos Boozer – ($5.3k) – He was very hot in the month of January before going down with a hamstring injury, causing his price to drop on many sites. He only played 23 minutes in his first game back letting down many of his fantasy owners, but I expect him to see regular minutes tonight in a close road game at Denver.
Earl Clark – ($5.9k) – With Pau Gasol out four to six weeks, Earl Clark is a must start going forward. Dwight Howard participated in shoot around but is still a game time call. I’m not really sure if someone who can’t feel their legs should be playing basketball, but regardless Clark is going to be locked in to 35+ minutes against a Celtics team that struggles against opposing bigs.
Jeff Green – ($4.6k) – Had a mediocre game last night, but saw 27 minutes and should see around the same tonight. The Celtics are undefeated since Rondo’s injury and Green has been a huge part of that. Before last night, Green had scored in double digits in five straight games, so hopefully he gets back on that train tonight.
