@golabattblue recaps our picks from yesterday and brings you today’s NHL previews, analysis, top picks, and sleepers.
Where to Play:
Thomas Vanek- Boston played a great defensive game in front of their back up goalie. They held Vanek off the score sheet and limited him to just 1 SOG.
Steven Stamkos- Tampa has completely fallen apart. They could manage only 20 shots as a team. As a result, Stamkos was limited to 2 SOG and 2 PIM.
Jordan Eberle- Eberle was limited to just 2 SOG against Columbus. Again, the entire team did not show up except for the goalie Devan Dubnyk. Edmonton was outshot 40-13 but still managed to win.
John Tavares- Tavares had 12 points in four games versus Carolina last year. He is playing extremely well, and there is no reason that it doesn’t continue this year. (7.7K DraftKings, 14.2K Draft Day, 7.2K FanThrowdown)
James Van Riemsdyk- JVR is developing good chemistry with Phil Kessel and Tyler Bozak since being promoted to the top line. He is getting lots of ice time as well as power play time. This is also his first game against the team that drafted him- look for him to produce tonight. (5.3K DraftKings, 10.1K Draft Day, 4.6K FanThrowdown)
Patrick Marleau- The Sharks are too good to keep floundering around as they have been doing recently. They get a great match up tonight against Columbus. (6.5K DraftKings, 11.3K Draft Day, 7.6K FanThrowdown)
Josh Bailey- Josh played his first game of the year for the Islanders on Saturday. Though he did not register a point, he did play well and led the team with 7 shots on goal. He is a good player with a great price. (3.2 DraftKings, 5.65 Draft Day, 2.2 FanThrowdown)
Vladimir Tarasenko- We have talked about him a lot, and even though he has slowed down we still like his upside, not to mention the price drop, every where except Fan Throwdown. (2.5K DraftKings, 6.2K Draft Day, 7.9K FanThrowdown)
