@golabattblue recaps our picks from yesterday and brings you today’s NHL previews, analysis, top picks, and sleepers.
Where to Play:
Roberto Luongo- Luongo picked up the win while stopping 25 of the 26 shots he faced, good for anywhere from 7-9 FP in most scoring formats.
Evander Kane- Kane picked up 1 assist to go along with 6 SOG, good for 4.4 FP in most formats.
Ilya Kovalchuk- Kovy got a goal as well as 4 SOG for 4.6FP in most formats.
Henrik Zetterberg- Detroit got trashed 6-0 on opening night by St. Louis but have won the last two against the Blues. In their last matchup, Zetterberg picked up 5 points, and while I don’t expect a 5-point night again, he should be good for a couple. (6.7k DraftKings, 14.15k DraftDay, 9k FanThrowdown)
Jamie Benn- Dallas is looking for it’s 5th straight win, and Calgary is just a bad team. It’s no coincidence that Dallas started playing better when Benn came back from injury. He is averaging a point per game since his return and should continue that tonight. (7.4k DraftKings, 14.15K DraftDay, 7.9k FanThrowdown)
Sidney Crosby- Pittsburgh is playing their first game since Sunday, while Ottawa is coming off a win last night but has to travel to Pittsburgh. I expect the Penguins to play with a lot of energy. It will most likely be a low-scoring game but Crosby should be involved in the scoring. (8.6k DraftKings, 16.25k DraftDay, 8.3k FanThrowdown)
Damien Brunner- He is a staple of this section as he continues to play on the top line and is dirt cheap. (2k DraftKings, 8.4k DraftDay, 6.3k FanThrowdown)
Derek Roy- Roy is a solid player with a great matchup against Calgary tonight. (4.8k DraftKings, 10.15k DraftDay, 6.8k FanThrowdown)
Mika Zibanejad- We have been touting him for a while now, and he has not yet taken off the way we have projected. However, he’s been moved up to the top line and is still dirt cheap. (2k DraftKings, 3k DraftDay, 4.3k FanThrowdown)
