Where to Play:
FanThrowdown is having a Friday Night Throwdown as well as their usual assortment of games. DraftKings has their daily freeroll, and I am assuming that DraftDay will have their usual games (the site was undergoing maintenance at the time of this writing).
Tomas Plekanec- This was a surprisingly low-scoring game as Florida’s Jose Theodore and Montreal’s Carey Price had a scoreless goaltending duel until overtime. Plekanec managed 3 SOG for 1.2 FP.
Steven Stamkos- Not a great night for Stamkos or the Lightning as they lost to Washington. He did still manage to pick up an assist and 2 SOG for 2.8 FP.
Eric Staal- Another game against Toronto, another point for Staal. He ended up with an assist and 3 SOG for 3.2 FP.
The play of the night was Looch’s value play Carl Hagelin who had a goal and an assist, 2 PIM and 7 SOG for 8 FP.
Sidney Crosby- Crosby picked up 3 points in his last game and also has a good matchup tonight against Winnipeg. The last time Pittsburgh played in Winnipeg, they jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead on 2 goals by Crosby then fell apart. Look for them to have revenge on their minds tonight, and expect another big game from Crosby. (8.2k DraftKings, 8.9k FanThrowdown)
Teemu Selanne- Selanne is just consistent. He has 9 points in 7 road games this year as well as 58 points in 66 career games against Detroit.
Daniel Sedin- The Canucks have just been middling along, doing nothing special. I believe that this is the game that they bust out, and Daniel Sedin is their most consistent player.
Ryan Kesler- Kesler has not played a game yet this year but is expected to be in the lineup tonight. He is a solid player and could be an extremely cheap value play if he is in the lineup tonight. (Not so much on DraftKings where he is still 5.1k, but he is only 2.2k on FanThrowdown.)
