Happy President’s Day to all of our American readers! With the holiday, games are getting an early start today with the first face-off set for 1PM EST.
Where to Play:
DraftKings has their usual array of GPPs, Double-Ups and Heads-Up games, as well as their daily freeroll. DraftDay has their variety of games, and FanThrowdown has their GPP and a collection of different game setups as well.
Jamie Benn- Benn did not record a point but did manage 2 SOG for 0.8 FP (He also had 2 Blocked Shots and 1 Hit if you play on a site that includes those stats)
Zach Parise- Parise managed 1 Assist and 1 SOG for 2.4 FP
Ryan Callahan- Callahan had 5 SOG for 2FP (he also had 6 Blocked shots and 6 Hits)
John Tavares (NYI-C) - Tavares is coming off of a monster game, and while I don’t expect him to pick up another 4 points in this one, I do think that he will pick up a couple. The Flyers have given up 19 goals in their last 5 games and if there is one thing that the Islanders are good at, it is scoring goals. ($7.7K DraftKings, $17.55k DraftDay, $5.4k FanThrowdown)
Teemu Selanne (ANA- RW) - The ageless wonder just keeps producing and also gets a great matchup tonight against Columbus. In his career, Selanne has 41 points in 36 games against the Blue Jackets. Anaheim is playing great hockey right now, and they should easily handle things in this one. ($5.2k DraftKings, $8.9k DraftDay, $6.9k FanThrowdown)
Eric Staal (CAR-C)- Staal in simply playing too well to ignore. While it is not a great matchup against Montreal, winners of three straight, the Canes should score a couple and chances are that Staal will be involved. He has 34 points in 30 career games against Montreal. ($6.9k DraftKings, $14.7k DraftDay, $5.5k FanThrowdown)
Nazem Kadri (TOR-C)- Even though Kadri is listed on the 3rd line, in reality he is getting 2nd line minutes as well as plenty of power play time. He has been one of Toronto’s most consistent offensive performers and gets a great matchup against the defensively-challenged Florida Panthers. ($3.3k DraftKings, $6.65k DraftDay, $3.7k FanThrowdown)
Alex Kovalev (FLA-RW)- If you are really desperate, Kovalev can make for a sneaky play. He has owned Toronto throughout his career to the tune of 72 points in 70 games, and he is dirt cheap. ($2k DraftKings, $5.25k DraftDay, $2.4k FanThrowdown)
