I hope everybody enjoyed themselves in yesterday’s Daily Fantasy Hockey Circuit event! It was a crazy night in the NHL, keeping in line with the week’s theme of crazy happenings in the NBA. I look forward to all of you coming around to loving the NHL as much as I do.
Where to Play:
The Penguins were shocked for a second consecutive outing as the fell in Carolina to Tobin’s Hurricanes by a score of 4-1. James Neal was kept off the scoresheet but did manage 3 SOG for only 0.9 FP (DraftKings scoring).
The Stars were drilled by the Oilers 5-1 and Jamie Benn did not score a goal. However, he did manage to fill up your daily fantasy scoresheet with a whopping 8 SOG, 17 PIM and 1 BS for 4.6 FP (DraftKings scoring).
Corey Perry (RW-ANA) is the lock of the night. With the great start that Chicago has had, the Ducks have kind been forgotten. It doesn’t help that they play in California. At any rate, Anaheim has been fantastic this year, with Perry is leading the way. Tonight they get a great matchup against a Minnesota team who played last night in Phoenix. Look for Anaheim and Perry to continue their stellar play. ($7.5k DraftKings, $7.8k FanThrowdown, $135.8k FantasyFeud)
The Blues were shutout at home by Chicago last night and tonight take on an Oilers team that embarrassed the Stars last night. I don’t think Edmonton can do it two nights in a row. David Backes (C-STL) and his St. Louis squad will come out angry and take it out on the Oilers tonight. ($5.3k DraftKings, $8.1k FanThrowdown, $77k FantasyFeud)
Patrick Kane (RW-CHI) and the Hawks will be going for points in their 21st consecutive game to start the season, and they have a fantastic matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Kane was held scoreless last night, but don’t expect that to continue. ($6k DraftKings, $9k FanThrowdown, $150.5k FantasyFeud)
Andrew Shaw (C-CHI) is one of the biggest reasons for Chicago’s great start. They have seen scoring throughout their lineup, and with the great matchup against Columbus tonight, that should continue. $4.4k DraftKings, $4.6k FanThrowdown, $71.6k FantasyFeud)
Chris Stewart (RW-STL) has 13 points in 19 games this year and generally plays well against Edmonton. In 16 career games against the Oilers, he has ten points and will look to increase that total tonight. ($4k DraftKings, $6.8k FanThrowdown, $93.2k FantasyFeud)
