Where to Play:
Peter dropped his NHL Bomb yesterday, so we won’t go through every pick, but here are the results of a few of them.
Rick Nash (LW-NYR) started the year a little slow, but later on he went on a tear before getting injured. In his first game back, he picked up right where he left off, scoring a goal and an assist. No reason that doesn’t continue today against Buffalo, who played yesterday and against whom Nash has had great success throughout his career, with eight points in ten games, including six goals. As noted above, Eric Staal (C-CAR) is having a great year. Normally, I don’t like to recommend players that are on the back end of a back-to-back, but considering he is playing the same team that he dominated yesterday, I am willing to make an exception. (6.6k DraftKings, 9k FanThrowdown)
Jarome Iginla (RW-Cal) and the Flames get the Canucks on the back end of a B2B. Also, the game is in Calgary, after the Nucks played in Vancouver last night. To top it all off, Vancouver couldn’t fly out last night due to bad weather in Calgary, so they will be flying in today. Should make for a tired bunch of which Iginla can take full advantage. Nathan Horton (RW-BOS) - Both teams played yesterday, though Boston played earlier and won a thriller against Tampa. Meanwhile, the Habs lost in overtime to Pittsburgh and gave up seven goals in the process. Now they have to travel to Beantown, a situation in which Horton should thrive tonight. In his last game against Columbus, Matt Duchene (C-COL) had a goal and two assists, and in 13 career games against the Blue Jackets, he has 10 points. (4.9k DraftKings, not on FanThrowdown as they only have late games)
