Where to Play:
There is only one place to get your daily fantasy hockey fix tonight: that’s right, we will see you over at DraftKings for The Circuit’s NHL Thursday event!
Disclaimer: Keeping with policy, we will not be recommending Sidney Crosby or Steven Stamkos in this spot. Both players have fantastic matchups and are worth playing if you can fit them into your daily fantasy hockey lineup.
Claude Giroux (C-PHI) has been absolutely on fire with 15 points in his last ten games. In two games against Pittsburgh this year, he has three points. This appears to be the best bet for the highest scoring game of the night, and Giroux is the Flyers best player. Look for him to continue his hot streak at a DraftKings price of $7,700.
Keeping in the theme of the high-scoring game, James Neal (LW-PIT) is a good bet to find the scoreboard as well. Neal has three points in the two games between these bitter rivals. He excels on the power play, and these games usually feature lots of penalties both ways, which makes him a good bet to score. You will find him at DraftKings for $6,900.
The defending Stanley Cup champs are finally starting to play like it, and Jeff Carter (RW-LA) is one of the players leading the way. He has ten points in his last ten games, including nine goals. He gets a good matchup tonight against a defensively-challenged Dallas team, and he won’t break the bank at $5,900 on DraftKings.
While DraftKings lists Alex Killorn (C-TB) as a Center, he is actually playing LW on Tampa’s second line along with Vinny Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis. Killorn has been scoring at a great pace, with seven points in his last ten games, and he has a great matchup at home against Winnipeg. He’s a bargain on DraftKings for $2,000.
Eric Fehr (RW-WAS) is coming off of a three-point game against Boston and has eleven points in his past ten games. The Caps have played Florida twice this year and Fehr has three points in those two games. No reason that doesn’t continue tonight, and no reason he won’t fit into your lineup at only $2,300 on DraftKings.
Jonathan Huberdeau (C-FLA) is becoming a fixture in this spot. He leads the Panthers in scoring, and this is another game that should be back and forth with the goals. Until his price increases, Huberdeau will be a great value play. He’s still only $2,600 on DraftKings.
