Last Week’s Whole in One – Daily Fantasy Golf Picks:
Bubba Watson’s Saturday night wing fest with Rickie Fowler helped him blow three days worth of excellent play, but still managed to finish T-18 at -7.
Charles Schwartzel also had a poor outing Sunday and ended the day at -8, finishing T-16.
Adam Scott performed at a high level throughout the tournament and finished T-3 at -14.
Justin Rose stayed in regular 2013 form and finished T-8 at -10.
Tiger Woods’ put together four great rounds to finish at -19, edging out Stricker at -17, to take down the tournament and register his second win on the season.
All of the DFR daily fantasy golf picks were in the top 20 and we picked the winner for the fourth time this year.
This week players arrive at Palm Harbor, FL to tackle the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. Playing at 7,340 yards and a Par 71, this course is designed to make players find the fairways in order to have a shot at the top 10. Players are forced to be accurate and need to have high GIR’s previously to be considered as fantasy plays this week. Last year’s winner, Luke Donald, played lights out and finished at -13. He will be in the field along with other previous winners, and they should provide some great daily fantasy golf action.
Check out my 5 PGA picks below that will score for your daily fantasy golf team, and potentially get us another win!
Last week we finished with our honorable mention winning the tournament (check it out here). Make sure you check out the value plays, and make informed decisions when it comes to filling our your daily fantasy golf lineups. This Week’s Whole in One – Daily Fantasy Golf Picks:
Jason Dufner had a great finish at the WGC Cadillac shooting -9. This was big for Dufner following up his only cut of the season at The Honda Classic. He has bounced around the top ten throughout the early season, and should be a top ten lock this week, making him DFR’s top pick.
Adam Scott pulled off a top five finish last week and looks like a competitor for the win this week. He has historically been a weak performer at the Tampa Bay Championship, but has been in the top ten for two out of the three tournaments he has entered in 2013.
Matt Kuchar is in my top five rankings for the Tampa Bay Championship because he’s a model of consistency, and has been playing great all year. Kuch’s consistency, combined with the fact he has not missed a cut this year, makes him a favorite for another top ten finish this week.
Webb Simpson finished second in 2011 at this tournament, and had a decent performance last week. Look for him to carry forward this momentum into this week’s tournament.
Louis Oosthuizen the Oost is one of my favorite golfers other than Tiger. He has already one first place finish this year and has the ability to win again this week, making him a great pick.
