Last Week’s Whole in One – Daily Fantasy Golf Picks:
Tiger Woods let us down again. He made the cut, but only finished T-37 at +4.
Charles Schwartzel finished T-9 at two under, and put together an impressive final round which he should build on this week.
Keegan Bradley finished T-4, at three under, despite two weak final rounds. He posted 68′s during the first two rounds, and could have contended for the win with a better closing performance.
Justin Rose also finished T-4 after weaker final rounds. Given his start, Rose should have notched a higher finish.
Louis Oosthuizen was our honorable mention pick last week and played like one. Oosthuizen failed to make the cut.
This week players arrive at Doral, FL to tackle the TPC Blue Monster Course. Playing at 7,334 yards and a Par 72, this is a bomber’s paradise. Last year’s winner, Justin Rose, finished at 16 under par and overtook Bubba Watson at 15 under to earn the win. Rory McIlroy finished at -14 and ended up in third. This course sets up for the long ball and plays right into the hands of Bubba, Adam and other bombers. The field is stacked once again this year and features the finest professionals that golf has to offer.

This Week’s Whole in One Picks:
Bubba Watson was the 54 hole leader last year and had a chance to win, but finished in 2nd. He has not had a great start to the year, but this course sets up for his style of play. He has performed well in the other WGC events, and posted a 9th place finish at the WGC Accenture Match Play.
Charles Schwartzel finished fourth last year and second in 2010, and it seems likely he will match his T-9 performance last week. A great fact for the daily fantasy golf player is that he has not missed a cut this year.
Adam Scott struggled at the WGC Accenture Match Play, but put together a nice performance at the Northern Trust Open this year. He has finished in the top five twice at this tournament, and his style of play matches the TPC Blue Monster.
Justin Rose was last years winner and has performed great so far in 2013. He is yet to miss a cut and has posted one second place finish. He should perform very well this week, and will be in all of my lineups.
Honorable Mention: Tiger Woods has won this tournament four times in the last ten years, but he barely made the cut last week and had a weak final round. He will need to lead the first two rounds to be in contention, but he should play his way into at least the top 20.
